1213 S Main St, Lake Mills, WI

Lake Mills is the home to the trail headquarters for the western half of the trail.

The trail passes directly past the restored railroad depot.

The depot has a sheltered picnic area, restrooms, showers, water, trail info

and even a wildlife exhibit.

Going north on State Highway 89 will take you into the  business area where

you will find gas stations, restaurants and other services.

Two miles south of the trail is the Sandhill Station State Campground.
