Jefferson is located 2 miles south of the trail.

At the intersection of State Highway 26 and Junction Rd, there is a short gap where there is no trail.  However, you will be riding on Junction Rd which has very low traffic volume. 

Parking is available at this intersection, as is a tavern with great food.

Motels and fast food are located at the south side of town.
